This summer, with the World Cup pulling half of Baltimore out of bed for early matches, we got a call from a woman who needed Mexico flags — and needed them fast. She’d run out of time to get to us before the weekend, and the flags mattered to her family. So rather than tell her to wait until Monday, a member of our team offered to meet her Saturday morning and bring the flags to her in Towson. (check out their thank you video)
It wasn’t a big order. It wasn’t a big deal, from where we sat. But a few days later, she called our office asking to speak to a manager — she wanted someone to know how much that Saturday morning meant to her and her family. When she was told she was already talking to the president, she was surprised. We weren’t. This is a 90-year-old, family-owned business, and moments like this are exactly why.
